Event Coordinator Job in Amsterdam: Join Stromma and Create Unforgettable Experiences on the Canals

With our tours through the canals and all the different cruises we offer on our boats, people will discover the city from the water. As an Event Coordinator, you are responsible for all our events and matching catering. Are you as in love with the city, planning and coordinating as we are? Then we want you in our team! 

What will you do as an Event Coordinator? 

On our boats, dozens of hosts and skippers work every day to give our guests an unforgettable experience. With various catering options and events on board, no day is the same. You manage the team and make sure everything goes according to plan. Your responsibilities include: 

• In collaboration with sales, organizing planned activities 
• Managing our operational employees and providing service training 
• Drafting scenarios and sailing orders 
• Linking with external parties, such as caterers and suppliers 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service 
• Working together with colleagues in other countries, such as Sweden, Norway and Denmark, as part of the Stromma Group

What are we asking of you? 

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar coordinating and operational position 
• Experience in the catering, hospitality or tourism industry is an absolute plus 
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language 
• Flexibility, result oriented and commercial insight 
• No problem with sea legs and ready for a new challenge
